Tatsuyuki Takano is a doctor of literature who studied under Japanese linguist Nagatoshi Ueda. While teaching Japanese language at university, he wrote the lyrics for many songs for the Ministry of Education. Even today, songs written by Tatsuyuki Takano are sung at school, including ``Haruno Ogawa(spring stream)'', ``Furusato(hometown)'', ``Momiji(Maple)'', and ``Oborozukiyo(vague moonlit night)''. . Tatsuyuki Takano was born in what is now Nakano City, and there is a Tatsuyuki Takano Memorial Museum in his hometown. In his mid-50s, he owned a house in Nozawa Onsen, connected the hot springs to his home, and ended his life there. ``House of Oboro Moonlit Night'' is a recreation of Tatsuyuki Takano's work room at his home in Tokyo.
